Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

As part of the Data Protection Act, any entity that processes personal information is required to register with the ICO and pay a data protection fee unless they are exempt. We are registered under number ZB201063.

Property Redress Scheme

All property agents and professionals that carry out estate, lettings, and property management work in the property industry have a legal responsibility to join an authorised redress scheme. The Property Redress Scheme (PRS) is authorised by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agent Team (NTSEALT) to provide redress for estate, lettings, and property management agents. The Property Redress Scheme is also authorised by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) to resolve disputes, under the ADR Regulations 2015.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Professional Indemnity Insurance covers the business against legal claims arising from its mistakes and errors that cause clients financial loss. Elite International holds cover for £1,000,000.

Client Money Protect

Since 1 April 2019, it has been a legal requirement for all letting agents to have CMP. The CMP scheme reimburses landlords and tenants should a letting agent misappropriate their rent, deposit, or other client funds.

It is mandatory for all Propertymark members to have CMP with Propertymark or (Moneyshield, RICS).
