Client Money Protect (CMP)

Since 1 April 2019, it has been a legal requirement for all letting agents to have CMP. The CMP scheme reimburses landlords and tenants should a letting agent misappropriate their rent, deposit, or other client funds.

It is mandatory for all Propertymark members to have CMP with Propertymark or (Moneyshield, RICS).
